SKID CAR TRAINER (Level 2) Course©

Successful attendees will be able to:-

  3. Use correct Braking Techniques whilst braking in Adverse Weather Conditions

SKID CAR TRAINER (Level 3) Course©

With the support of the Millbrook Proving Ground, SKID CAR UK now offers the only authorised SKID CAR Trainer© package, within the UK.

For those wishing to be SKID CAR trainers, but are not familiar with SKID CAR, we would recommend a prerequisite standard of at least level 2 SKID CAR qualification (as shown above) at a SKID CAR users site SKID CAR, prospective trainers can then apply to gain their SKID CAR trainer accreditation.

Trainers will have the necessary knowledge to-

  1. Set up the SKID CAR system prior to use
  2. Identify faults as indicated by SKID CAR CONTROLLER associated with the SKID CAR system
  3. Impart information regarding driving in Adverse Weather Conditions
  4. Demonstrate the three causes and relevant factors which contribute to a loss of control situation
  5. Prevent a loss of control situation in conditions
  6. Simulate Adverse Driving Conditions

SKID CAR TRAINER (Level 1) Course©

  1. Trainers will have the necessary knowledge to demonstrate-
  2. The procedure for setting up the SKID CAR system prior to use
  3. The identification of minor faults with the SKID CAR system
  4. The three causes and relevant factors which contribute to a loss of control
  5. The knowledge to meet any loss of control situation

SKID CAR TRAINER (Level 2) Course©

Trainers will have the necessary knowledge to demonstrate-

  7. Winter Driving Theory

Part B of the SKID CAR UK TRAIN-THE-TRAINER COURSE©

Trainers have consolidated information gained in Part A and are able to-

  1. Fault find using HAL SKID CAR Controller
  2. Rectify minor faults found on SKID CAR during the Self-Test Procedure
  3. Carry pre-user checks
  4. Carry out authorised training, pre certification, for SKID CAR & ADVERSE WEATHER DRIVER TRAINER
  5. Impart training techniques using current electronic stability devices
